Grove Pointe Apartments

You should know what we experienced, never ending views, skyscrapers, helicopters, boats, ships, cruisers, jets, planes, closest to path, happening places all around, healthy food markets, grocery stores, party places, medical shops, grocery stores, and the walkable exchange place, i can go on forever. We have been to a lot of neighbourhoods but this felt more safe and happening of all, it goes to its utmost best when it starts to rain, ahh the views of the skyline, walkable streets, starbucks, bars, roof tops, indian, chinese, italian restaurants double rainbow views, best sunsets 🌅 , farmers markets, festivals every now and then. I would love to settle in this place except for the parking, which is reqlly difficult to find

Super noisy since it’s right next to a traffic circle. Some of the staff are friendly, but some of the managers… are honestly difficult to deal with. Communication is hard, and there’s no flexibility at any time. They often make you feel like they’re just looking to cause trouble. We’ve had constant issues in the unit and call maintenance almost every other week. The bathroom had water leaks and pump problems twice, forcing us to live in a smelly room for a week (with no compensation for the damaged items). The dishwasher also got clogged twice. Yes, the location is convenient, and I’ve made the most of my time here by managing my own life well, but the house itself is far from satisfying. If you have any other options, please consider them.

My husband and I have lived in Grove Pointe for 4 years now (lease renewed twice so far) with no current plans to move. The building has its quirks, sure, but it’s one of the only reasonably priced high rises in the area, has a pool, a gym, and lovely staff. Tiaise, Brianna, Naim, Darrel, Rich, and Shawn in particular are always friendly, helpful, and focused on their jobs. I work from home, so a lot of days Tiaise and Brianna are the only people I chat with IRL, and thank god for them. They go above and beyond to make us feel cared for and at home — loving on our dog, making sure we get our packages, quickly resolving issues, you name it. Sometimes we have to follow up a few times to get building management to finish maintenance requests, but the guys handling the repairs are always com

After living here for four years, I hoped for a good ending, but it turned out ugly. The management team monitored my every click on DocuSign and pressured me to sign despite my concerns. They spoke in a condescending, punitive tone throughout the process. And why didn’t they inform me of the additional costs when I asked at the very beginning, only to tell me at the last minute that I would have to forfeit my all of deposit and give up the money I rightfully deserve?

I've lived here for 5 years now and have loved every minute. The building is well kept and the location is perfect (across the street from Grove Street PATH, Newark Ave a block away, 7 min walk to the waterfront). The staff has always been super friendly and helpful. New ownership has taken over and none of that has changed and they are now renovating the apartments. Looking forward to the improvements!
