GRG Management Inc

If I could leave ZERO stars I would. Tracey and her staff have been completely uncooperative in ensuring their customers are supported. They have halted the closing of two properties now and seem to not understand how this affects livelihood. Be warned if they "manage" your property as they also do not allow "walk ins" and will forward you to voice-mail. I prefer to to leave glowing reviews but sadly this is not the case.

Hello - My name is Jim Castelli and I've lived in Mar Brisa (Carlsbad) for 16 years now. This review is long overdue. Over the years I've contacted GRG to let them know how impressed I've been with the community. I've spoken to, or had email communication with Traci, Lisa, Debbie, among several others. Each time, they have been so kind and professional and genuinely cared about the community. I rarely have used the two spa's or the pool, but I did use them several times over the last month or so. It was like a 5 star resort! Clean, comfortable and just a kept up perfectly. Also, the community grounds are kept so nice as well. I just wanted to say a big thank you to GRG and everyone I've dealt with over the years! I appreciate the effort you all put in keeping Mar Brisa top notch!

This will be a living review Initial review 10/22/2019: 1 star I just moved into an HOA managed by GRG. I have left messages and sent an email and never received a response (the receptionist is responsive). Current rating is 1 star. Will adjust upward if any fruitful interactions take place over the course of time that I live in this community. So far, not looking good. Update 10/24/2019: bumping 1 -> 3 stars Review was noticed and I have now received a satisfactory email response to an inquiry from the person that manages the HOA for my community. Update 3/21/2023: bumping 3 -> 4 stars I have had no further issues with this property manager in the past several years and no news is good news.

We bought a property whose HOA is managed by GRG Management. As we entered the contract on the property, we confirmed with a GRG representative via email that short term rental is allowed, as the legal document (CC&R) is super long. We ended up bought the property after the confirmation. It turns out that GRG Management representative gave us the wrong information and short term rental is not allowed. We politely reached out to the owner of GRG Management and tried to work out a solution. We told the owner that we are willing to take down the listing. Since there are existing bookings on the property, we are checking with the owner to see if we can get any grace period so that we don't disrupt the travel plan for our existing guests. I wish I could leave a zero-star review. The lack of communication and annual increases to the monthly HOA fee is absurd. I have not seen any improvement in the community. They have recently hired a new security company that seems like enjoy threatening residents and their guest with towing their vehicle. It's ridiculous how you cannot even park in your own driveway without paying an annual fee. All this HOA company wants is your money. Absolutely the most Un-American "HOA" there is. It's disgusting.
