Greenwood Park Apartments

A picture is worth 1000 words, so I attached a couple photos of this "good place" to live. I also included a photo of my apartment, to aid in conveying my standard of clean, organized living; as well as a couple photos of my flea bites. The positive reviews are entertaining to me, because the Greenwood Park Apartment complex is not a desirable place for a family, college student, or otherwise to call home. This is the type of place you move into out of desperation, with no other options to turn to. The complex is dirty, riddled with broken glass, overflowing dumpsters, violence, feral cats, and pests. Management is always friendly but have told me they never received the roommate's application I personally handed them while having cashed the check stapled to it. Maintenence tries hard to do a good job in a timely manner. Neighborhood has changed in the last 3 months though. Lots of 18th St gang tags have gone up and down street around here. Keep your eyes on the kids as they have been known to wedge things against the car tires, throw things at doors/ windows, ride their bike out in front of you intentionally. Rent used to be pretty low but has gone up a lot since pandemic all over the complex. Parking can be problematic if you have more than one car, but has gotten a little better since they started requiring a parking permit and towing. I would have rated it higher but between

This is a good place to live for college students going to chemeketa. You can see the college from here. Unfortunately they turn off the water in the car wash station all winter so good luck washing your car in the colder months which is like 3/4 of the time in Oregon. Lots of tall speed bumps with gash marks on them so you can see lots of drivers have a hard time and bottom out. The cost is ok. The management team is really friendly which is nice. I actually went to the management to complain that we had a parking problem and there was never anywhere to park but they fixed it with much stricter parking rules. My very first appointment since I was 25 of age and has no rental history yet. I already paid full month rent before call from my next home I called management to come inspections as I took weeks already cleaning no body show yet they didn't bring my deposit and making up lies about me leaving the unit dirty etc this place sucks! It already old to begin with the cabinets bathroom mold issues.

If I could give this place no stars I would 🙃 but overall when we first moved everything was well but we had roaches mind we moved in and they were already crawling everywhere they had sent a person to just put cream on the walls. Which didn’t help I went two time to tell them personally and wrote a maintenance request as well. They didn’t go when we left it was so embarrassing because how bad the roaches were lived by the trash and right by neighbors that weren’t clean. Once we moved out we got billed for the pest company to go which I was asking for since I moved in. They billed us 400 we paid it the same week that we received the bill. They took out the money right away but now I am received a bill from the debt collectors because it says that we didn’t pay the bill. I wouldn’t recommen
