Greenbriar Village Apartments and Townhomes

The apartments are out of date and dirty. Mail gets stolen constantly. Other tenants are generally loud and disrespectful of other people’s property. People litter beer bottles and trash all over the parking lot and grassy areas. They sent out an email and put up fliers to let us know that a tenant had been routinely putting cigarettes out on and inside of people’s cars. Last summer(2025) they had to shut down the pool multiple times because it gets filthy so quickly. The tiny “gym” is disgusting as well. One of the 2 washing machines in my building was out of service for the entire year I lived here. There is a nice little forest directly behind the apartments that would be beautiful if people didn’t throw their trash off the balconies into the tree-line. There is trash everywhere. I ha

Being a tenant of Greenbriar for upcoming of 5 years… I have gone into the office on multiple occasions for numerous reasons and have felt welcomed by whichever manager we had at the time. Today on December 4, 2025 I went into the office to take care of some business, ask a few questions of concern, and provide my rental check for my unit. Upon entering I saw an older female (who I am assuming is the new property manager) and I believe her name to be Miss Carol. She was engulfed in her personal mobile device and did not greet myself or my husband. Not once did she look up from her phone to offer any assistance. However, there was a sweet young lady present in the office (who I believe may be new) and I apologize for not knowing her name. She stepped in and assisted. Very sweet young lad

Please do not stay in this apartment if you are planning to break lease in between. They will not let your unit advertised for rent and do everything to charge you till the end of lease. I stayed this apartment for 6 years and they charge me every penny for all maintenance and I owe them more than $1000 now despite having $500 deposit. Please do your due diligence and you can find other good apartments which will not steal your money in the name of policy.

Do not lease from Union Real Estate. When tenants vacate, the company frequently tries to impose unwarranted charges, and their representatives—MaryBeth Freund and Sande Petrone—are consistently discourteous and unprofessional. If you are already a tenant, it may be useful to review HUD’s Special Claims Processing Guide (file number HSG-06-01). Although the guide does not govern private leases, its straight-line depreciation principle (for example, 20% per year for carpet) illustrates that renters should never be liable for full replacement costs. Arguing directly with Ms. Freund or Ms. Petrone is typically futile—they are generally unwilling to discuss or negotiate. This place is great! The complex is beautiful and the apartments are very spacious and newly renovated. I was able to tour, apply for the apartment and move in, in a matter of 2 days and that was all thanks to Melissa. She has been very helpful with everything and very sweet to my baby girl. The maintenance staff are amazing as well, I put down a work order to fix some stuff in my apartment and they came in less than an hour and fixed everything. Would recommend 💯!
