Green River Cabins

So disappointed!! I had an appointment today to pay my deposit and go over the details to be sure I was ordering what I wanted. Salesman started out telling me about the cracks in the logs, they don’t cover nail holes and said “this is a log home, not a Swiss chalet”, which of course I was well aware of. Told me they wouldn’t make any repairs if I hired an independent inspector ( he did change his mind after talking to the owner). I asked for the owners name and number, but he wouldn’t give it to me but said he would give my number to the owner. I felt disrespected and he didn’t seem to want to sell me a unit so I left. On to another option!

We absolutely love our cabin! They are solid as a rock! Great salesperson they have there is Barry! He held our hand every step of the way. The customer service has been top notch!

I have two of these cabins. The first was basically ok despite some minor problems. The second is like completely different people made it. Poor workmanship, things are slapped together, things don't line up, and materials have gone way downhill. You may get lucky and get a good one, or maybe not. Big investment to have so many stupid problems that were just laziness, cheapness or unskilled builders. Partial list includes a propane leak in fireplace that took a LOT of sleuthing to figure out (it wasn't installed correctly, Blossman was very surprised), mini splits that work poorly because they were wired backwards, floor planks that have big gaps, cold air coming through thin walls, dishwasher out of order already, uneven cabinets and drawers that are out of alignment, shoddy materials and

We love our Green River log cabin! It's the perfect weekend getaway. "Wee Windy" was delivered this spring. We chose the Riverview Bunk House model because of the huge picture windows in the great room. There is an area meant for bunk beds or a washer and dryer, but I turned that space into my office and sewing nook. The loft is huge, and my grandson loves it up there. Although the cabin is just 399 square feet, we have room for everything. We haven't even filled up the cabinets yet! Everyone who has visited has commented on how big it seems inside. The cabin is full of unexpected luxuries such as a full refrigerator, soft-close kitchen drawers, a shower with a tub, an outdoor water spigot, stylish Edison bulbs in the kitchen and bath fixtures, and usb ports for phone charging convenientl

We purchased a Green River cabin in the spring of this year and placed it beside a creek on mountain property in Banner Elk, NC. We now have enjoyed it for three seasons. The cabin is beautifully crafted, comfortable, and efficient in the use of space. We love the wood, the beauty, and the attention to detail. Our cabin is a lovely home away from home. Thanks to the folks at Green River for the good work on the cabin itself and for their assistance in getting the cabin installed. We look forward to many more happy times there!
