Great Hills

As a new resident, I can confidently say that this was the best experience I've ever had with touring, applying, and getting set up at an apartment complex! Isabella is beyond fantastic - super helpful, friendly, and a total pro at navigating the whole process. Would absolutely recommend Great Hills and Isabella to anyone looking for cozy, quiet apartments with stellar service.

We lived in the apartment for less than 2 weeks. We applied online and never visited the apartment in person since we were living in another state. However, we trusted that the apartments would look like the photos on the website. We were given a dirty apartment with dust, dirt, and spider nests at the front door. The bedroom carpet was very dirty (I filled the vacuum cleaner’s bin three times). Despite the appliances being old (from the 80s-90s), the bathroom ones were very deteriorated, and a drawer was missing. What upset us the most was that the air ducts were full of mold, as were the vents. The landlord sent a contractor to clean the air ducts, but they only cleaned them superficially and painted over the mold and dirt. Overall, the office staff and maintenance were very friendly; th

I love it here so much!! Isabella and the whole leasing office are the BEST! The maintenance team is on top of their game and quick! If you get an apartment with a view you won’t regret it. And it’s true what they say about the deer in the morning. The community is diverse in every way possible and everyone is super friendly. Couldn’t be happier with my stay:) PS: about half a mile to your left is a great hiking trail and half a mile to your right is a great HEB:)

I lived at Great Hills Apartments for 2 years and 3 months, and it was honestly one of my best living experiences in Austin. Yes, the apartments are older — mine still had the original 1984 fridge, stove, and kitchen cabinets — but everything worked perfectly, and when my fridge finally gave out, maintenance replaced it with a brand-new one right away. I lived in Building 35, which is across the road from the main complex. That had its pros and cons: ✅ more privacy and plenty of parking, ❌ delivery drivers sometimes couldn’t find our building. Some other positives: We never lost water in our building, even when the main complex had 1-day outages once every month or two. I don't even live here yet but I have to give a shoutout to Assistant Community Manager, Isabella Jimenez. She was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and transparent. She even offered to stay after her normal working hours so that I could tour an apt. Isabella made me really trust that I was in good hands with Great Hills, which is something really hard to find these days. If you're Isabella's boss and your reading this, please give her a raise!!!!!!! I also have friends who currently live at Great Hills and have mentioned several times how incredible office staff is. Because of friendly office staff, I am so excited to move-in!
