Grass Valley Terrace Apartments

Ok here is an updated review,I've lived here almost 3 years,and to my experience here,I'd say the building inspectors in grassvalley,California were paid off to pass this cardboard box apartment building to pass anyone's codes,no fire wall between apartments,no fire escapes,disrespectful tenant next door,loud people outdoor at night,walls are paper thin,and you hear everything through them,people drive very fast,same speed as on street in parking lot,repairs take forever,rent still increases,hard to keep warm inside,no privacy as your neighbors can hear you whisper,no one here has authority to stop all this,my first apartment life,it's not just a job it's a nightmare,manager is very nice,but needs to solve a few issues,we are not zoo animals,so fix the issues

These apartments are not a quiet , kind, or comfortable place to live. Many plumbing and electrical problems and lazy maintenance. Also not a good place for children. Trash ends up far from the trash cans instead of inside them. The grass is dry. The blinds always fall off, and sometimes break. lots of sketchy behavior, I have seen numerous homeless people walking through the apartments, and many of my neighbors report stalking and harassment from other tenants, which management tends to ignore. A child predator was living here without other tenants knowledge, who also was not living on a lease. Overall I want to rate this place a zero but that's not possible so I give it a one.

This place is a nightmare for many. Been here 6 years. Came in to recover from being crippled and blind from the grief and stress of losing my husband of 45 years to cancer and the death of my daughter 2 years later. It's a hostile environment and there are tenants who stalk and annoy good people who just want Peace and Privacy and Safety. Supposed to be a constitutional right. I was a victim of a vicious hate/racist crime for the past year and the stalker won't quit and ABSOLUTELY NO SUPPORT FROM MANAGER. Trying to move but the process is not timely. Very stressful. Oh they just raised my rent $70 this month!!!!

‘Myron’ - the new manager, has left due to corporate mishandling. Contractors hired to resolve electrical issues have not been paid for 6 months for work performed at their request. Do not live here - they are dishonest.

I moved into my apartment about a year ago it wasn't the greatest place but I was grateful new Management has a lot to take care of and address, but I feel great living here there on top of things much more than before and I know things will only get better from here.
