Granite Ridge Apartments

My name is Marguerite Stevenson. I live at 246 E. Iris Avenue. James Abeyta as well as the owner, Blake Weddington, are holding me and my granddaughter, Jon'nesha hostage for ransom; meaning that there's a serious case of roaches and rodents in the walls of our apartment. The roaches have already made their way in, and the rodents are trying to gnaw their way in through our walls. Jon'nesha is highly allergic to rats and roaches. She's taking 9 allergy shots a week; 3 shots a day, 3 visits a week. Because of all of this suffering, we need to do an emergency move out. I've had my 30 day notice ever since May 29th, and James Abeyta and Blake Weddington have been refusing to sign it so that we can break the lease. One of the worst apt complexes here in Stockton. James abeyta the apartment Mgr is never in the office. The apt complex has pending cases open with the fair Housing Dept. The wash houses are shot out and regularly slept in by vagrants and not safe. They move new tenants into units that are not secure or safe because of broken windows and cockroach infestation. The maintenance men are not professional and may have felony backgrounds. There is no security because the new owner Marc Menowitz of southern California who is a real estate mogul terminated all employees for the complex back in July when he bought this complex and another. Mr. Menowitz has since than failed to maintain this property including fire dept. violations of not keeping fire extinguishers up to date and in all sections of
