Granite Bay Apartments

We lived here for about 10 months and i’ll give you a rundown my review is a couple months delayed since we moved out of state but here it is: 🪳Didn’t see a single roach or scorpion while living here, we lived on the south side in S202 right by the pool and so perfect we loved it and our neighbors kept to themselves and were kind when running into one another. 🔧 Maintenance was ALWAYS fast and reliable all of them were very nice their always busy and doing their jobs you can see them riding their golf-carts or walking around all day requests were done same day or next day always . 🚚 Keep an eye on packages they will get wrongly delivered to nearby apartments front doors/porchs had to walk to neighboring buildings to give my neighbors their packages OUR ISSUE began towards the end of our l

The maintenance team was incredibly friendly and helpful. The staff was fantastic, especially Alexa, who provided excellent customer service. The leasing staff was also amazing, and overall, I had a great experience working with the managers and leasing team, including the Maintenance Supervisor.

I’ve had a leak for a while. I understand it’s a difficult leak to determine where it came from. Today maintenance finally cut into the wall in my closet. The carpet was soaking wet and there is visible mold. My dad and brother are contractors, so I know what appropriate steps should be taken. I requested the wet carpet to be removed and a good margin of the wall and baseboard be removed for the safety of the apartment itself and my health. Instead there was just a fan pointed at the top of a small portion of the carpet and some simple mold spray used. I pulled up the carpet myself so the fan could hit under one small part. Shout out to ALEX in the leasing office! Every time I call SHE makes it her mission to answer any questions, if you she is unsure she will direct you in the correct path. She is very knowledgeable, always greets with a smile, hears all out complaints with a positive attitude. I appreciate all that you do for not only myself but for the community.

⭐ Pros: • Communicative leasing office • Large complex with nice amenities (pools, soccer field, basketball courts) • Spacious apartment with good storage and balcony • Affordable rent (~$1,000/1br) ❌ Cons: • Outdated kitchen with peeling cabinets, mildew smell, and recurring pest issues (roaches & even a scorpion) • Bathtub floor started cracking within days of move-in • Laundry machine smells of mold with visible buildup on the drum • Toilet has mold inside the bowl and around the water outlet area • AC unit and bathroom fan are abnormally loud and disruptive • No clear path from parking lot, making move-in difficult • People sleeping under the stairs late at night (safety concern) • Abnormally frequent police presence Overall: The cons heavily outweigh the pros.
