This was my first and last time to rent a property from Grand Strand Realty. I rented 201 Blue Mist for two weeks and right away we noticed mold and mildew in dresser drawers, walls, lamp shades, ceiling, and baseboards. The unit had musty and moldy scent which really bothered my allergies and I was not able to sleep the entire time I was in the unit. I called the office about the mold, odor, and humidity and they suggested to remove and clean the filters from the window units to which I responded that it was not my job and I am on vacation! They sent someone who cleaned the filters, wiped the mold from one of the dressers and wipe some of the mold from the queen bedroom ceiling which made some improvement but the odor and the the rest of the mold from the unit was still there. The unit was not very clean. Dirty washcloth left in master bedroom shower. Trash in one bedroom. When we arrived at unit a maintenance guy was in condo so didn’t use keys. Went out to eat came back at 9:15 pm. Keys did not work. Called answering service they were not concerned. We were locked out for at least 45 minutes before someone showed up with right keys. Not sure I will be using this company again. No apology for inconvenience. Condo was convenient location. B.Rodden
