Grand and Dale Apartments

The property manager, Mailee, is fantastic. She provided me with an easy, transparent and welcoming experience throughout my move-in process. My apartment was actually CLEAN upon move-in, this has not been my experience in the past. Much appreciated 👌🏼

I’ve been a resident here for more than eight years, and this is the first time we’ve had such a wonderful manager. Her name is Mailee, and she has truly transformed our community. She keeps the property nice and clean, has made many improvements, and always treats residents with kindness. She is friendly, professional, and always returns my calls quickly. We’ve had different managers in the past, but none compare to Mailee. Since she’s been here, the hallways are spotless and always smell fresh. I often see her walking the building, making sure everything is in order, and the improvements are easy to see. She even added a new bike rack in the basement for residents, and the laundry rooms are always kept clean. Most importantly, she listens to concerns, responds quickly, and provides exc

I lived here for 2 years. It's a great location but the management is very disorganized. The maintenance man had come into my apartment twice to match my cabinet color without alerting me and my dog was very anxious. I also was verbally abused on the phone in January, after the manager called me to say I had left pine needles everywhere when I did not have a Christmas tree nor wreath. She had the wrong unit AND the wrong building. The laundry machines constantly break and there is a lot of residual smoke smell in the building. The front door rarely closes/locks depending on the weather outside. I also have gotten locked out multiple times when the SaltoKS fob system went down. I hope they can make changes.

Homeless people are constantly breaking in and spending the night in the landings, sometimes doing hard drugs. Management won't do anything to prevent that but will randomly add hundreds of dollars of extra charges to your account in defiance of your signed lease. Everything the review from Forrest says is also true. EDIT: The company replied to this offering support and then just passed it along to the woman who runs the building when I accepted it. Empty gesture.

Lovely historic building in Summit Hill. I lived in this apartment for two years and really enjoyed my unit and the neighborhood despite some management and maintenance issues. Pros: 1. Beautiful architecture – Original wood floors and vintage fixtures give the space a lot of charm. 2. Excellent location – Safe, walkable area with easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, attractions, and shops. 3. Pet-friendly – All animals are allowed, and the complex has a welcoming environment for dogs of all breeds. 4. Friendly neighbors – The community vibe was positive and neighborly. Cons: 1. Temperature control – The building is well-insulated but lacks temperature flexibility. Radiators can’t be adjusted, so once they’re on, the unit heats up very quickly.
