Golden Valley Luxury Apartments

Great property the amenities are worth it. A little crowded community but they keep it very clean and well maintenance. The inside of the apartments are outdated. Paint is terrible. The janitor door knobs can definitely be updated. Besides that, great property.

Once was a beautiful place to live. No one takes care of the grounds like it once was!!!! air conditionings. No one cleans them. You breathe dirty air. It takes forever for anything to get repaired or fixed. No security as promised!!!!!!. Oh, parking lots, it was always lit up with beautiful lights. And also the park... Now, it's dark and people walking in and out when gates are broke!!!!! it was a friendly place. Landscaping is horrible, trees are untrimmed.

This apartment complex was nice back when management really cared about keeping everything in order. They had 24/7 security patrol, it really felt safe. Now, the gym restrooms are so filthy and disgusting they have not been cleaned in months, kids always running around unsupervised, dogs off leash in the park. Pool area was well kept before with other management, it was well kept with nice lounge chairs and cushion seats now those chairs are broken and area looks wrecked, kids always jumping the fence being loud, trashing everything and are always unsupervised.

To Golden Valley Apartments: Replace CPMI IMMEDIATELY. WE are beyond furious with the complete incompetence and utter disregard that CPMI continues to show. This company is absolutely WORTHLESS. They have no business managing anything, let alone a property where real people live and pay rent expecting even the bare minimum of professionalism. Why are you still working with them when there are countless better property management companies in Bakersfield? Do you even listen to your tenants? Because we’ve had enough. CPMI has proven time and time again that they don’t care, they don’t respond, and they don’t belong in this role. This isn't just a minor complaint. It's a demand. PLEASE replace CPMI. Now.

I really loved this place and I am sad to leave it. I moved in here on February 1st of 2019 and now 3 years later I am leaving for a new job and state. This was my first real apartment, since my previous jobs provided staff housing, and this was a great first experience. Jessica in the office was always nice and was the one who helped me move in when I had less than 2 weeks to move from Virginia back to California. The community was always well kept, the pools were nice, and we always felt safe. Maintenance requests were always done in a speedy manner for us and we never had any real big problems in our apartment. We loved how they had food trucks come in, hosted contests, and had holiday themed events as well. We will miss this place and we wish for the best.
