Goldelm at Salerno

Several annoying experiences, having lived here 3+ years. The property promotes itself as a "gated community", however in our time here the gates have been functional *maybe* 3 weeks total. The pool(s) are touted as amenities, but with posted hours of "dawn to dusk" (roughly 6AM - 9PM in Orlando in the summer), on most days the gates are locked well into the morning and re-locked very early in the evening (making it so anyone who works normal hours can't utilize the pool on weekdays). The maintenance crew is relatively quick to respond to issues, however the work is often sloppy and the parking lots and pathways are often littered with nails/screws/etc that fall off their golf carts. When I first moved in everything was fine and the staff was super friendly. Now it has run down in the short time we’ve lived here. The staff is very rude and not helpful. The maintenance never comes after countless work orders are put in. Everything is falling apart. Is there no one else watching this place crumble to shambles? We as tenants have to pay rent every month on time and do our part. But this complex does not help us tenants enjoy or even make our home comfortable to live in. I should not have to sit and weeks with down appliances because maintenance is too busy to be sent by our unit.

Living in a condominium should mean peace, cleanliness, and respect. Unfortunately, the reality here is far from that. The pools —which should be a space to enjoy on weekends, the only free days many of us have after working day and night— are closed, contaminated, and full of bugs. The place has completely lost its good appearance, maintenance is nonexistent, and the new staff shows no education or respect toward the tenants. The apartments are in poor condition, and the quality of life has become a daily struggle. A home should be a place where one feels comfortable, but sadly, this condominium is no longer a place I would recommend for anyone to live in😥

The grounds was beautiful. Maintenance was on top of things and just all together a neat clean environment

New staff as always and staff gets worse each time. Pool is always unkept.. Bugs in the units. Maintenance can’t even do work orders correctly. We have a few more months and are out of this place. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
