DO NOT RENT WITH GOLDWYNN NO MATTER WHAT!!!! I have had nothing but regrets renting with this awful company. I've had mail stolen, porta-potties placed in front of my back door, and a literal home invasion and the landlord has never made any efforts to help or even answer the phone. Just had another instance of package theft, this time by maintenance (who once walked the entirety of my apartment in muddy boots, breaking my mirror, and using my bathroom, in order to fix the FRONT DOOR WHICH HAD BEEN BROKEN INTO AT 5AM!!! They are also currently working on the parking lot of my apartment, per their email, from beginning of September to end of November. Hertel homes is advertised as North Buffalo but it is actually BlackRock aka the hood! Right across from Jasper Projects! Rats all over the property in the broad day light! Drug addicts all over the property too. We have mice in our house! Walls so thin you can hear the neighbors breathing. Says no smoking but tenants do anyways. Everyone fighting over parking! All tenants look miserable. Rent is too high! No dishwasher, central air or anything! Just floors and walls with a ceiling fan! Fixtures in bathroom came off our first week here just from decorating in there! Tub painted and constantly chipping! Everything put together so cheap! Dog poop all over the courtyards! ‼️UPDATE‼️UPDATE‼️UPDATE‼️ -Read under the line first‼️- After the hell these people gave me and all the proof I've shown saying this, was an illegal termination, property manager, Maddie from Hertel homes gave me a backhanded apology, followed by lies, stating that when I expressed that I wanted to stay in the home and didn't agree with their decision, she rescinded the termination which was a huge lie. (Have it all on emails) She also waited near the end of the 90 days to say I could continue my lease after I used all my savings to put into a apt I found and then had the audacity to say if I move it is MY CHOICE. I been with Goldwynn for 3 years now and their amazing. I am currently transferring to a new unit and Maddie has made the experience wonderful. She is experienced as a property manager and extremely intelligent. I absolutely LOVE Maddie as my property manager.

Don’t rent from these people! Maintenance requests go ignored for weeks. Despite the rodent issues, & lack of (needed) security on premises, my rent has went up 225$ since i moved in. In the case of an emergency you will not be able to contact anybody. They do not answer their phones or reply to emails unless you actually threaten to withhold rent. Maintenance doesn’t notify you after entering your apartment when you’re not home. They also don’t knock before using their keys to come into your unit unannounced. The building fire alarm has went off multiple times for hours without anyone coming to fix the issue. I even called the fire department who told me they tried to contact the property managers but all the numbers they had were not in service. I had a problem with rats & flies since li
