Great agency and people, very available and responsive. They were very professional.

I’m relocating from Chicago to NYC and came into the city for a showing. Four hours after confirming the appointment, I was told by the agent he has been sick all night and can’t show, and no one else can help. I understand things happen, but canceling last minute after confirming is extremely unprofessional.

I have been nothing but excited about my move to New York City and flew up there just to make sure the apartments matched the pictures on Street Easy. Not only did this broker put up pictures from another unit (there was NO closet in the bedroom, but one in the picture on Street Easy), but even when I filed an application I heard NOTHING from anyone about the status of the apartment, my application, or the process. I reached out to the access department, my particular broker, and the company’s main email directly and never got a response from anyone. Totally unprofessional to take nearly 50 pages of personal documents and leave a person twisted in the wind.

It has so far been a pleasure working with Gold and Appel. Their agent offered a location that was amazing and would have been impossible to find on my own. So far, they seem quite kind and communicative and willing to help as long as you are able to follow their direction. Thanks!
