Gave me less than a month to move out as my lease was coming up for renewal as we have been in the home for 2 years . We were going to sign again and she said that the owner wanted us out. We offered to pay up front for the year was told no. So we bought a home. With that being said got the detail page and was charged for a screen door that we didn’t break .. told her when we moved in it’s as ripped and broke was told don’t worry about it them charged over a 100 to clean stove.. and to clean the home which it was cleaned I have pics and video to prove it was cleaned. Didn’t charge me for carpet cleaning as I did have it cleaned .. the last tenants had a big dog and tot he day I left I was still pulling black and grey hair out of the carpet I. Which she stated the carpets were professionall

Proceed with caution with this company. They gave me the impression they have greedy and lazy energy. I wanted to schedule a viewing and was told they only really do viewing for people who are ready to move in and basically already gave a deposit on it and are wanting to sign a lease after viewing. I was also told that because if I'm not ready to move in she might not have it later. Of course thats a chance you take! That's the game of apartment hunting no matter where you go in the world! But that doesn't justify handing over money to an apartment I have never seen! There's also NO pictures of the inside of the apartment online and it appears to be this way for all of their properties. I can drive past it to see the outside of it, the inside is much more important to me and I'm sure many

WORST MANAGEMENT EXPERIECE EVER!!! There is a long list of things that went wrong but the main point is you don't want to rent here. The price of the apartments are reasonable but after the experience I had from just the application process alone. I see that it's not worth it and If I was just an applicant and was treated this way I don't even want to imagine what it's like to be a resident here! The Manager Shelia was very rude and dishonest about everything. My application and none of the 2 Co-signer applications I turned in were good enough although they had great rental history etc. As a student I even offered to pay up for the full year lease, Shelia refused and made another excuse. ALL people are NOT treated fairly here.

I rented two homes from GLS Properties while I was student at SIUE and it was a great experience. Sheila was great to work with and was always quick to respond if there was ever an issue or if I had any questions. I was immediately impressed with how clean and updated both properties were. I was also impressed to find such nice homes in great Edwardsville neighborhoods within my student budget. I would definitely recommend them to anyone seeking rental property in the Edwardsville area.

Sheila Mikes was great to work with and was always on top of our needs. Service and quality of property was great. GLS Properties will be on the top of my lists to look at when and if I move back to Edwardsville.
