Glenbrook Apartments

I actually do recommend living here, which I think says a lot! It's in a decent area, I feel totally safe walking around at 7am or even 2am. You're close to a few nature paths, and the river is such a convenient place to be able to walk to in the summers. Andrea is super responsive and has been a really good manager. Maintenance is quick and he's really nice. Like any apartment on the cheaper end, they're old and have their quirks but I've really enjoyed the few years I've lived here. It's quiet and the property stays clean. This is definitely one of the better apartments you can get around here for a lower price - I've had friends move into the complex and have good experiences other than surprise move out fees.

Nice, quiet apartment complex. Reasonably priced and well maintained. Office and maintenance staff are excellent! Friendly, efficient, repairs done quickly. Bonus that each unit has laundry hook-ups. I have been here for years and have no desire to move.

I have lived here for a few years. It is clean, quiet, and has beautiful landscaping. I feel safe, and the management is kind and responsive to maintenance needs. In general they are quick to fix up and maintain the place, it looks better every year.

I enjoyed my first bit of time here, but the old plumbing, hot water issues, and cheap fixtures have grown annoying. The bathroom smells like mold so the fan needs to run constantly. As long as you don't need bike lock areas and get lucky with your neighbors, it's fine for the price. I'm not lucky, so 6 months into my lease I'm looking to move already.

i have nothing but good things to say about this place. the apartments are quite old with slightly outdated designs and appliances, but the rent is some of the cheapest in the city in my opinion. Andrea is very sweet and helpful and so is maintenance, every problem we had was resolved within 24 hours of our request. we never had a problem with any of our neighbors, they were all very friendly and quiet. we lived here for a little over a year with a cat, and we got our entire deposit returned to us except for the portion that covers carpet cleaning and blind cleaning (which is very cheap). we loved our time at glenbrook and would have stayed for years if we hadn’t moved to a new city!
