I’ve had a review up here for some time that described my experience as a prospective and then new resident, and I don’t think it’s applicable anymore so I’ve just deleted it. I’d now like to talk about my experience as a resident who has lived here for about 1.5 years. When we had our pool party on Juneteenth a couple months ago, I had this moment of clarity and complete gratitude for the home I have here at Giddy Hall. I am writing this review to warn future residents about serious security issues at this apartment complex. Over the past few months, multiple cars have been broken into on the property. These are not isolated incidents. They keep happening, and management has taken no meaningful action to prevent them. There are no security cameras. There is no gated access. There is no patrol or visible security presence. There has been no clear plan shared with residents to address the problem. Residents have raised concerns repeatedly. The response has been slow, vague, or nonexistent. There is no sense of urgency, even though people are losing property and no longer feel safe where they live. Rent here is not cheap. The team at Giddy Hall are very personable and kind! Amaria & Emily are super responsive and communicative. Ash & Ray are very quick to resolve work orders. I’ve never had a close relationship with my leasing office but everyone is so personable it feels like a family. Definitely extending my lease.

I have been living in this complex for the past seven months, and over the last couple of months car break-ins have occurred almost every week. It is extremely frustrating to see the continued lack of action from the administration. A security company was brought in to make rounds for a short period, but this was quietly discontinued, and no effective measures have been implemented since. There is no safe place to park your car in this community—residents are left feeling vulnerable no matter where they park. The absence of a clear response or long-term solution is unacceptable.

I use to be so in love with this place. But the poor response and assistance with parking is out of this world and has tarnish my feelings. Cars are being broken into again and right in front of the office with a state trooper car in the parking lot. It was said there would be security at night. I assume that has cease. Now this past weekend over 10 cars broken into including mine and no one to help assist but the police coming out giving you a card. Now let you park an inch over a line or not far enough in to a space your being towed or getting booted. This is just so uncomfortable and aggravating.
