Giant Realty NY Corp is owned by Shalom Avramov and they’re located by 70-68 Kissena Blvd 2nd FL, Flushing, NY 11367. I’ve never had such horrible experiences working with a broker to secure an apartment in NYC. I’d say this broker (more like Shalom) cares more about the money than making sure their customers are happy. I’m grateful my salesperson was Tomeka, who actually cares about their customers. However, Shalom does not care about anyone at all. Where in the world would you get rented an apartment that’s not even done? Windows broken, Toilet clogged up, bathtub clogged, and more unfinished things. Only Giant Realty NY Corp rents apartments like that. And why? That’s because the broker only cares about their 1.8 x rent price, which’s their broker’s fees. Shalom can definitely work on

The issue then is why they're incorrectly representing units to prospective tenants if they work for you. In the process of viewing, sharing application details, getting approved, and receiving the lease, I only communicated with Shalom Avramov over email and answered phone calls, texts, and scheduled live viewings with his assistant Eli Shalamov. I’ve been working with Tomeka Phifer for some time now. Submitted an application to two apartments she showed me, but everytime I submit the application I’ve been informed someone already was approved for it. After repeatedly following up for updates and listings, she has ghosted me and become completely unresponsive. Super unprofessional and lack of communication after submitting my personal information. Appearance was also well underdressed so be weary.
