Germantown Apartments

Financial desperation is a terrible thing but if you have any other choices, I urge you to reconsider living here. In the 6 years I stayed there were murders, home and car invasions, drugs in every building, roaches, water damage, mold, on top of faulty utilities. I woke up one morning to police officers combing the grass outside my front door for bullet casings. Anything that ever brushes up against me in the night will always be a roach in my mind from the nights I slept here. I had men in uniforms with rifles scream and shout as they broke down my neighbors door. These are slums, run by slum lords, with all the hallmarks.

I have lived in Germantown apartments for 2 years and I love it. They have a great manager and amenities. The maintenance worker is always on time to fix things. I love the pool and tennis court. Great location for shopping and dinning.

If i could leave -100 i would. This is place is absolutely infested with roaches. The base boards and ceilings have holes and gaps all in them where roaches crawl in and out. Even if you get it treated they wont go away because if your neighbors or the complex has them then they keep coming back. My place just recently got sprayed and this is what i have seen and this is not taking into account the others I have seen before this as well. and on a side note my neighbors stole a package of mine as well. These photos were taken in my bathroom and i felt so disgusted I couldn't even shower.

10/10 would not recommend. The apartments have roaches in them. They are very small and stay very hot in the summer. Maintenance was terrible. And when I ended my Lease in JANUARY they reported to my rental history/credit history that I was to pay until OCTOBER and had not done so. So I had to go and spend a couple months disputing their claim and having it removed so I could be accepted at another place.

I just read through the other reviews and they are mostly hit or miss. I've lived here a year and a half. I've had no issues really. Maintenance is Awesome! He has come and fixed things that went wrong within a day or two. The Management is always extremely helpful and kind! When I first moved in the apartment had a small roach issue from unclean neighbors but Pest Control sprayed and Ive not seen a roach in over a year. There are Water Bugs outside that get in when you open your door at night but thats very rare. I've not had any issues with crime or loud tenants .. or really heard of any neighbors complaining about anything of that nature either. The apartment prices are awesome for what you get. I don't regret moving in here at ALL! It's not a "luxury " property but for $500 a month its
