Gateway Crossing Apartments

I have delayed sharing this story, as it has been a painful one. However, my mother had lived in this apartment complex for 15 years from 2010-2025. She suddenly died on August 23rd, and we were given two weeks to remove her stuff and longer if needed. Which we greatly appreciated. However, upon returning to my mom's apartment to retrieve the rest of her items the second weekend of our two weeks, we notice the portable AC unit that I purchased was no longer there. I confirmed with my siblings that neither of them had removed it. Thinking it was an honest mistake, I called Gateway three or four times and left voicemails with each one becoming increasingly more agitated as they refused to call me back. Lived there for about a year and a half. When the time came for us to move out, I moved out a week early before our lease was us. Made time to go back and make sure everything was clean. Then when 30 days hit for us to get our deposit back, they charged over 600 dollars for pro rate rent. They claim we had to give 30 days notice. I tried contacting the owners and nothing. I also called the manger on site saying that she can’t do that considering our lease ended.

We love everything about our new home. We were looking for a place to move into quick and the manager, Kimmy helped us move in that same week. Our 3 bedroom apartment is very spacious, cozy, and quiet. No traffic and no loud neighbors. All of the neighbors we met so far are all so nice and welcoming! The manager is also very helpful and nice! We got very lucky finding this apartment complex.

We lived in these apartments for almost 6 years. We had been through many property managers. Recently management changed. The old manager was great. The new manager hit some bumps starting out. But she is trying hard. She may be a little tough to get to know but she is fair and honest and didn't take advantage of us. Our move out was handled and all issues were resolved fairly. We appreciated Carrie in the end.

I would not recommend this place to anyone who values their family, there are two men who were arrested for fentanyl and beating their spouse, they served a little time and are back at the apartments with ankle monitors, the matience man is a very good friend of one of these tendeents. Kids everywhere in the parking lot and parents don't care, management is new and she is better then the last one but doesn't do much about the trouble makers ! I'd never live in this complex again and do not recommend it. I paid the 500.00 to get out of my lease. I didn't even stay a year, manager is very aware of the drug use and those two men b.
