Garfield Park Apartments

I had a very enjoyable time here. The atmosphere felt warm and friendly, which made the experience comfortable right away. The staff maintained a positive attitude and worked steadily to make sure everything ran smoothly. The environment was clean and well arranged, showing clear attention to detail. Even though the place seems simple at first glance, the quality of the service and the overall vibe definitely stand out. It’s refreshing to visit a location where consistency and care are noticeable. I walked away satisfied and relaxed, and I would certainly consider returning for another visit when the opportunity arises.

TERRIBLE! They gave me the apartment dirty, the kitchen dirty and the bathroom too, and just to make it even better the neighbor that I have down stairs just come to me to tell me how to walk, she does not want me to walk at all, this is some bullshit and I have a toddler and she has autism, I don’t know how she expects that I have to tie her up. I just moved on Friday 🙂, and she came on Saturday at 6 pm 🙂. Please do not rent here.

To start with the positives, Norlan and Myra from the leasing office are very helpful, friendly, and professional. They always greet residents with a smile, and my dog loves them and the treats they offer him. I am in a one bedroom apartment, and it is nice. The gas stoves are great, the AC unit works well, and I have had minimal maintenance issues. The kitchen is spacious with a lot of cabinet space. The walk-in closet and bathroom are also nice and spacious. The apartment is a good price compared to others in the area, and Clarendon is a great area to live in. My only minor complaint about the apartment itself is that I'd prefer hardwood flooring over carpeting. Worst apartments to rent. shower, restroom sink and kitchen sink got clogged by the upstairs neighbors and we had to wait 2 days to get the Plummer just to check then half day to "fix it" witch got clog again 2 days after, so on the mean time we had no shower no kitchen and couldn't even brush our teeth nor nothing actually. On top of that during winter the won't turn on the heater until it gets cold I mean under 40's. It's unbelievable!

Small and old, but very well maintained. Posting again two years later. Absolutely horrendous on making even minor repairs. Can't get anything fixed, upstairs water leak took three years.GFI plug going on 7 weeks now, not resolved, shorted beacausr of water leak. Changed 5 stars to 1 star.
