Gardens at Briarwood 3570-1 Buford Hwy, Atlanta, GA This property used to be a very friendly predominately all LGBTQ+ community. There were rainbow flags everywhere, but I thought that meant it was the Covenant of God. I was given a discount for staying here because I was not homosexual. My discount allowed my rent for a 3bd/2ba to be 30% cheaper than everyone else. My neighbors were very helpful, thoughtful, and when my canine would escape from my unit, my kind-hearted neighbors would track her down, and put her back in my unit. This community was eccentric property in all forms (retirees, college students, mall workers, & adult entertainers lived at this property), but this property is now predominantly Hispanic. Management also paid me for cleaning my unit better than their clean

for 2 months now there has been new management and is the worst I've ever dealt with the office is now so dirty and it is an office not a daycare center! the office never answers the phone if you have an issue you are better off fixing your self because they never show up it is been 2 months and they have not fix a single thing i asked them to. i do miss the old management the guy that was there was always listening to tenants complaints/suggestions and the old maintenance always showed up if not the same day the day after i hate this new management and i hope they get removed as soon as possible they are just making this place look horrible.

The apartments look decent, seem decent, but for what they are, overpriced. Have a sister who lived there and I've stayed there before when we had some friends over. To be brutally honest, I do not like them at all.

My husband and I have been living in a one bedroom apartment for almost four years and I am very happy I found a place like this to live. The manager is so friendly and the maintanance too. I highly recommend this complex.

This is another of numerous complexes on Buford Highway that take advantage of their tenants who are often limited by immigration status and/or income. There are numerous complexes on Buford Highway that know they can provide crappy service with little repercussions due to the fact that many of their tenants are undocumented immigrants. The tenants in these complexes are some of the hardest workers in America. However, it is known by management that they are unable to report many violations to proper authorities for fear of deportation. I would put this complex in the category of those who take advantage of those they can take advantage of. Surprisingly, these complexes are not always cheap to live in but treat people like cheap pieces of meat.
