Garden Cove

We have lived here since the end of December and it’s been great. We were instantly greeted by neighbors and staff and had no issues getting our stuff in. The front desk (MJ) was an amazing help throughout our move in process and well as the property manager who answered our questions and attended to our needs promptly and accordingly. We put in a maintenance request for 5 different issues at once (I didn’t want them to have to work around boxes) and maintenance was here next day 9 am and fixed them all within a matter of minutes while also being extremely polite and respectful. I hope to see this continue as the staff is doing a wonderful job at maintaining tenants.

If professional communication is an important attribute when picking an apartment home, I'd advise a more intentional approach with your research regarding Garden Cove. This review more-so pertains to the office's lack of professionalism towards new applicants. I applied for a 3bed 2bath that was available 2 days ago (7/12/23) online and called to schedule an appointment immediately after applying. I was told the unit was not ready to view and will be available on Fri (7/14/23) at 1pm. Friday comes, and I call 10 minutes before the appointment to give a courtesy that I was still interested and on the way. I was then told that the unit was still being fixed and the contractor hadn't come in yet, so they will have to reschedule me........ 10 minutes before the actual appointment..... and I h

I lived here before from 2009-2013 and I loved it. I just recently moved back here from Texas and didn't even bother looking for another place to live. I knew automatically I wanted to move back to Garden Cove. I got lucky to get a 2 bedroom that was renovated. Looks so nice. Living room is small but the kitchen is nice size,new appliances and cabinets. The staff is amazing. They are all wonderful people. Maintenance is amazing. Called the office about an issue and within a matter of mins they were here to resolve it. ""I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS""

The office staff is wonderful and very polite. Ms Penelope took the extra time out to make sure all my questions were answered to the fullest. The model home is very clean and well kept as well as the office. You can tell the staff works very well together to get the job done. I can’t wait to move in !

If you are looking for a safe place to live, don't move here. I lived at these apartments for a few months (about 3). It is a high crime area. In those 3 months, someone got shot on my street (in the afternoon hours while the office was open) and my apartment was broken in to (also afternoon hours). When I asked some neighbors if they witnessed anything it was like talking to a wall. I was bluntly ignored. I can't wait to move out. This definitely does not feel like home. I will acknowledge that the staff is nice. BUT the safety of the apartments is terrible.
