Fremont Apartments at Heritage Village

We were interested in this place, and Bree was not very helpful. I asked for the bedroom measurements, and she wouldn’t tell me. I can’t believe that with only 3 floor plans they don’t have measurements. She was also getting annoyed with my questions, and became dismissive. If I’m signing 12 months lease I need to have a clear picture. I wonder if she acts like this to potential customers, how does she treats people who already signed up their rental agreements.

They withheld my security deposit at move out despite my unit being clean and claimed that they have regular cleaning charges for all tenants that they use the deposit for. They only returned my deposit once I sued in small claims (for the amount of my deposit plus damages). I am writing this because it is an illegal and predatory practice to charge a default fee to tenants for moving out, regardless of the unit’s condition, and any potential renters should know. A quick google search will confirm that but they rely on tenants not knowing in order to keep their deposits.

This place leaves a lot to be desired, but I'm here mainly to talk about the stray cats situation. It's so bad, they're everywhere. The fleas are out of control, which is annoying but it's not the worst part. It's the DEAD KITTENS LAYING IN THE PARKING LOT. This is not a one time thing, this happens annually, finding kitten corpses in the parking lot.

Very nice property. The grounds are always well kept and Michael with maintenance is always a pleasure to work with.
