Fountains At Carondelet

This place is disgraceful! There is mold, roaches, mice, and they never fix anything! They are rude and extremely unprofessional! They are raising our rent in which we’re paid up but haven’t fixed the mold problem, the front door that doesn’t fit, the floor boards where mice come in, the blinds in which we paid $80 for with a receipt and they said they couldn’t find it! The pool is disgusting and non functional, the laundry room is non functional people is coming off the street living in empty apartments! Do not come here!! We make our own space habitable! But I’m suing!

I've lived here almost a year and it is not what they will promise during a tour.

Started off as a nice renovated apartment but quickly went down hill. The new floor was never properly leveled so the new flooring immediately started cracking. The breakers for my heat were not correct and would trip every 5 min running heat all winter and never got fixed claiming it takes months to get an electrician and permits to put new breakers in. Then when the complex got sold and has new management pest control was nonexistent. The spring brought roaches that they didn't care about and I have bedbugs that after almost a month they still have not attempted to treat. Avoid this place!

They never answer the phone since they switched management. They are always closing the office for training. What exactly are they training for? They act like they didn’t even want me to pay my rent because they were closed for training. I knocked on the door and they were like we are closed for training. I said I know I read the sign but I still need to pay my rent. They let me pay it but they can be really annoying. They take forever to deal with issues. They never tell us when things go wrong on the property or how long it will be before it’s fixed. The laundry was shut down in the second to last week of May and we didn’t even know it was closed. I moved here in January and by February realized that our air conditioning unit was broken as outside temps of 70 degrees or higher resulted in apartment temperatures in the 80s. I’ve been contacting the office at least once a week since late February and each time was told that a request had been placed and that somebody would fix it. Finally in early April I was told that they actually would not fix the AC until it was 80 degrees outside. I waited and the days came when it was 80-85 degrees outside and I went to the office simply to hear them say there was no guarantee that my ac would be fixed, just that they would “try,” and in the lease air conditioning is stated as something that Fountains “generously provides” but that they are in no way obligated to provide it, even though they adv
