Review for Maintenance Services: I really appreciate the excellent service Thomas provided. He called ahead before arriving to confirm the details of my work order and properly assess the issue. Once he got here, he went straight to the bathroom, quickly identified the problem with my tub, and fixed it. He even made sure the water was flowing down the drain correctly before moving on. Next, he addressed the issue with my stove light that wouldn’t turn off. I didn’t even know the stove could move out like that, but Thomas did! He located the problem right away, replaced the knob, and the stove was fixed in no time. Throughout the visit, Thomas was efficient, professional, and easy to talk to. Best of all, he left no mess behind. I truly appreciate his thoroughness and great customer servi
I went and visited this property today, July 31, 2025. The lobby bathroom was without paper or towels and no soap. I had plenty of time to check things out while they fumbled around for an apartment key (20 minutes or so). The lobby coffee maker had mold growing just inside the top cover. The property was well mowed but the apartments are falling apart. At the price point they are asking, this place is WAY overpriced. We eventually went in an apartment, I stepped in and then quickly out. Smelled like hot garbage and pet urine. I said thanks but no thanks and I’m all set and left without saying another word. Save your time and the effort, this place is a dirty toilet bowl.
Absolutely do not move here. Flats on 7th was the worst living experience I’ve ever had. I lived here from Aug 2022-Feb 2025. From day one, the apartment was full of unresolved maintenance issues—broken appliances, leaking ceilings, mold, and non-functioning internet. Maintenance was slow or unresponsive, and the office staff consistently deflected responsibility. I dealt with mold from leaks, repeated refrigerator failures (causing food loss multiple times), and flooding without any real assistance. The buildings are old with poor insulation and paper-thin walls—you’ll hear every step your neighbors take. Trash is always scattered around the complex, crime is a regular occurrence (my bike was stolen, someone attempted to steal our car, and we even caught someone urinating outside our doo
I unfortunately was not pleased with my time at Flats on 7th. The location is wonderful, but the prices of the apartments are outrageous considering you can get a luxury apartment less than five minutes away for the same price (or cheaper)! My apartment at flats had and smelled like mold, and I developed several health issues from the mold in the buildings, and found mold even on the ceilings. There were also quite a few roaches that would come even with pest visiting once every 3 months. The office will never notify you about work being done on your roof. This is a huge inconvenience as days I would work from home I would have to leave my apartment randomly in the day because I was not notified roof work was going to be done. The roofing pieces will also completely fall over your patio a
As a departing resident in good standing of 5 years, I can now offer my honest thoughts on the experience. The only consistently bright spot was the maintenance team, who were always quick and courteous to respond. The single bright spot. Turnover in the office team is incredibly high, so that experience was a mixed bag as I was definitely treated better by some than others. These units were previously government housing which got some paint slapped on them and shiny appliances to make them look pretty, but there is serious internal work needed. Windows are also pretty garbage. Be prepared to pay out the butt on your energy bill when it gets cold. The pool is closed more often than it's open for 'maintenance' and the other "amenities" are overpriced and lackluster at best. And be prepared
