We have been residents of FirstKey Homes for 3.5 years, and our experience has been extremely disappointing and disheartening. Throughout our time here, we have faced constant issues with repairs and maintenance that are either delayed, incomplete, or entirely ignored. For months, we have been without a kitchen floor. All of our kitchen appliances were removed and left sitting in the hallway and living room area, making our home nearly unlivable. Even more concerning, we were billed over $1,000 per month for four months due to a major leak under the house — a leak that FirstKey took months to locate and address. I am a current resident of First Key homes and I have been since 2022. When we first moved in our kitchen sink was basically pulling away from the wall. Shortly after moving in we called maintenance out for another issue and mentioned the sink while he was here. He said he would file a report and we never heard anyting back. We have reported this issue so many times now that I can’t even count. We mention it every time maintenance had come to our house we’ve had 3 different maintenace workers “take pictures to submit”. According to our maintenance records the first documented report was on 1/12/2023. They came and fixed the loose faucet but nothing about the cabinet coming off the wall. They never even reached out to ask us about the issue. The latest report was on 1/23/2026. That is exact
