My daughter lived in one of the newer townhouses owned by First Star. Move in and move out experiences were not great. The house was not move in clean upon move in. Floors were so dirty that the bottoms of our feet were black. There was issue with dishwasher that was eventually repaired. I had been told by management that upon move out, we would receive full deposit refund less the cleaning fee (which was rich considering the house was not clean when my daughter moved in!) to which we were agreeable. But upon move out, in addition to the deposit refund having a cleaning fee deducted, it also had a $300 painting fee deducted. Shelly Dowell was amazing! We needed a rental house FAST! Like in a week fast and she took her Saturday to show us a home we fell in love with , she got to know us and our family, and helped make sure we had a place to live in record time! So grateful for her and all her efforts!!!
