First American Title Insurance Company - Homebuilder Services

Irresponsible people are working in this company. There is no punctuality, and the work ethics are very poor. I’ve had a terrible experience with this company, and I honestly don’t understand how it is still operating.

Absolutely Horrendous Customer Service – Avoid at All Costs! If I could give this company zero stars, I would. The level of incompetence and sheer disregard for customers is astonishing. I closed on a house recently and the most horrendous experience I have ever encountered in a financial transaction occurred with this company. Prior to closing I spent days waiting for the final numbers needed for closing and the wiring instructions to be sent and someone in that office with their infinite wisdom decided to send me everything one hour prior to closing, they could of easily sent me that information two days prior and decided to do it last minute. I had to scramble to find an appointment at the bank to initiate a Wire Transfer which didn't occur as they sent me the information at nearly 2 P

My experience with this First American Title Company office was amazing. Joanna went above and beyond in the days prior to closing to help ensure paperwork was complete and that I could close on time to meet some scheduling issues. Then at the actual closing, Diann made the signing completely stress free. She explained the process and gave clear explanations of what I was signing. I would definitely use this company again.

Regarding my closing day, a very bad experience! They called me the day before, I checked with them who would appear in the title, but the closing day, surprise ! They had not included my wife, all her information had been sent 1 month before and they told me there that they did not have access to the emails through their own portal through which they request the information... little professionalism.
