Even though I paid 20% down, at the last minute they demanded a 2nd on another property I own. They took almost 3 months to approve the loan so I was trapped. Of course, now they require flood insurance. When the first bank didn't take it out on time, but did later. Rather than wait an additional 2 weeks of a 4 week waiting period they charged my escrow account $7,861 for their own policy. They even insured the 3 months that had passed! They don't care when they can steal the money.

Usual dishonesty on cancelation fees as any insurance company I've ever dealt with. It's funny how you can't avoid the scam even if you know it's coming
