Fidelity Investments

Stopped by since I was in the area and needed to combine a couple of accounts, both held by Fidelity. I’ve never worked with an advisor before, but I wasn’t sold on the experience when I came in today. The person I spoke with referred me to an 800 number, which was fine, but when I asked what they do on location, he just said retirement planning. Cool…I came in needing to combine retirement accounts. Why wouldn’t you offer me more information about the services available? I was told I could schedule an appointment whenever I was looking for help with retirement planning, which is still pretty vague as far as services offered. The person honestly didn’t seem interested in my business, so I left. Not sure if it was what I was wearing, or it was 40 minutes before closing, but I was not impres

In person service is really good but setting up an appointment with an advisor is terrible. The website sucks and it won’t show any advisors and when you call it takes you to an automated voice message and won’t connect you to a person on the phone. Very frustrating and I don’t want to walk in to schedule an appointment every time I want to speak to an advisor!!!!

Unprofessional and unethical behavior from a Fidelity employee I want to start by saying thank you to two Fidelity employees who treated my mom and me with genuine kindness. The woman who helped process my mom’s POA was incredibly friendly and professional. The thinner gentleman who works in the afternoons is also polite, helpful, and easy to talk to. They both deserve five stars. That said, our experience with another employee, specifically the heavier-set man at the same office, was completely different. His attitude was cold from the start, even though I was respectful and polite as always. What happened next was surprising and frankly unacceptable.
