I enjoy that this place has a super friendly staff. Jenn is over all super precessional and friendly. I love that she goes above and beyond to make sure that everything is always taken care of. The maintenance man Antony is typically on top of everything I ever need done. As busy as he is he always tries his best to get to me when he can. I recommend Fairview to everyone. Even with the owner ship change last year they still have excellent service. It’s always a good day when you can come in and see the smiling faces of the people who work here.
Good and bad. We had difficulty hearing back from property management. Was told they'd get back in an hour or so and then still hadn't heard anything 2 days later so called back to hear the Manger, Jenn, mumble under her breath "oh my god" as she answers the phone. Every time I called there was some excuse as to why our application hadn't been run yet. Left emails and voice-mails that were never responded to. Went to tour the model 1 br/ 1 ba apartment and it smelled heavily of Paul Maul cigarettes and had a dead cockroach in the bathroom floor, but we are trying to move closer to our family so we were willing to make it work one way or another. On a positive note, the apartments do seem very spacious and the quality of the flooring/walls/counter tops/cabinets/etc. Seem nice and well craft
Pros: 1. Cheap rent 2. Utilities included except electric 3. Wi-Fi & cable included. 4. Assigned parking space 4. Great manager (Jen goes ABOVE & BEYOND to make it an enjoyable place to live) 5. Dog park 6. Younger kids park 7. On-site laundry if needed, but has washer/dryer hookups if you have your own 8. Conveniently located to Walmart, grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, etc. 1.5 miles from 85. 25 minutes to Winston Salem & 35 minutes to Greensboro 9. Quiet, which still shocks me, but it’s very quiet here 10. Friendly neighbors 11. Dishwasher & garbage disposal 12. Dog stations Cons: 1. The homes are old, (51 years old!) so things are falling apart. Needs a renovation inside and out. 2. Only 1 handyman to do turnovers & fix all the maintenance requests (Larry is awesome though &
My family and I have been here four years this March. Up until this past year, we loved the place. As you can see by the other reviews, management is an issue. The guy upstairs had his hot water heater blow up Monday morning, flooding our apartment and causing the ceiling to fall in. Maintenance was quick to shut off the water and shop vac some of it up, but it's still a mess and I'm pretty sure mold is under the carpet. When there's an emergency, you can't get in touch with a manager, and the corporate office is a joke. My wife called them of the issue cause I had to go to work. They were rude and said "we have no control over the managers". What kinda crap is that? We won't be here much longer and hope that anyone looking to stay here has exhausted every effort to find somewhere else. If
Would not recommend living here. Ever since Harvest Properties have taken over the complex managed by Gabby and Billie we have had multiple violent crimes/break-ins/fire due to lack maintenance/lost rent checks/rats that we had threaten to report them to the city before any action was taken. There is rarely someone at the office only at the end and beginning of the months to collect rent checks. Been living here since 2014 ever since Harvest took over the quality of complex has gone down significantly with no response from management. This used to be a really nice complex that felt safe and family friendly however due to the extreme lack of mismanagement and neglect over the years from the managers this complex is no longer safe or worth the price of living here. In 6 years there has been
