The area and buildings are pretty nice, however if you do not contact the office in advance then most probably you will not meet them there! So find contact number and call them first before you go there!

Since I moved into Fairfield properties' Lynbrook Terrace apartments, I have regretted it. The entire first week we had no hot water in the kitchen but we did have hot water in the toilet, yes in the toilet. We were promised that the front windows, which leaked, would be changed before we moved in. they were not changed until 2 months later and now, nearly 2 months after the windows were changed, they are still leaking water into my apartment when it rains. Our bathroom did not have proper ventilation for the first 2 months. Moisture could not escape the room (neither could smells), so water would pool on the floor. We have spent a number of days with no heat or hot water despite the fact that heat and hot water are supposedly included free in our lease. The property manager, David F

I had lived at 227 Lakeland Ave in Sayville. Which is owned by Fairfield Properties in Commack NY. My Husband and I had lived there for 3 years. Our lease was up as of April 1st. We had asked for a for a 2 week extension since we needed it for the closing on our new home which they had given us. We had paid them in full including for the two weeks. We also have the letter they mailed us and a copy of our bank check. I had called their office to find out when I would get my deposit back and was told that it takes 60 days at first. Not Counting that my husband and I also had to give their office our address 4 times. And still we have not received any correspondence. We were patient and waited the 60 days. I have an elderly grandmother living in the sayville complex. They hired a company to repave the roads and sidewalks. I am in my early twenties, and I even had difficulty maneuvering around the massive pot holes, debris, road work cones, and rubble. The condition of the complex is horrible and has been in this condition for several weeks. This morning her phone line was down. I tried to get a hold of multiple people in charge of Fairfield Properties -- I was hung up on twice by two different people. There is no way anyone can make a formal compliant to these people because they refuse to help you. Money plus blood sucking apartment folks. Stay away from this place. Starting with Hector till the customer service dept nobody returns your call. Very rude people. One of the customer service rep was very insensitive, and said even if you are fired from your job we don't care all we need is the money and we are ready to take as much as we can. Every time they spray insecticide they don't notify the apartment folks and if you have your window open insecticide is gonna get sprayed inside. We had to throw a lot of food. When we called, they said why did you keep the window open. Everything is your fault.
