EVOC Hillcrest

Been living here for 6 months now and I have to say, it’s been great. Besides the construction going on out front I’ve enjoyed my time at Evoc so far. Any maintenance request are dealt with in a very expeditious manner. The staff are very responsive to questions and I like how they do monthly events for the tenants. I’m glad I was able to get a unit here when I was looking for a place here in San Diego. Definitely recommend this apartment building!

It’s only been a few weeks and we absolutely love it here. The location is prime and walkable to everything you will ever need and more. Our neighbors are the best and the community offers many amenities and social events. We are super lucky to have been able to secure a place here at Evoc.

The worst housing experience to date. I moved in to EVOC excited I would be the first tenant to move into the property. Little did I know the next six months of my life living there would be the most stressful due to the following: 1. No security. The front door was broken allowing people off the street free access to come in and wander the halls and spend the night. The first week I moved in I had to call Andre about a vagrant sleeping outside of my door. 2. Door keypads not working. Three different occasions my dog walker showed up only to find the keypad to the door didn’t work-it was dead after being installed a week prior. Maintenance eats 12-1pm daily so there was not a single person on site to gain access into my unit so my dog did not get walked. 3. Elevators constantly broken and

It has been refreshing that every time I put in a maintenance request, it is promptly handled, typically the same day I put in the request. Love the view from my top floor apartment. My daughter and I regularly walk to the zoo, which is a fantastic weekend activity. Max the community manager is very friendly and makes us feel welcome.

My wife and I have been living at Evoc Hillcrest for seven months and we love it here! We decided last summer it was time to move out of our apartment we’d been in for the last ten years. From day one Max helped us in viewing the apartment and got all our paperwork to us quickly so we could move in asap. Since then everything has been even better than we could have hoped for. Max and the team are responsive to any queries and are always quick to help with anything that comes up. We love our 2br/2ba apartment. Compared to our last place, everything here is a major upgrade. We have an in unit washer/dryer, dish washer, microwave, A/C and heater. It also helps that each room has a fan, including our outdoor patio. We have big windows that let in a lot of natural light and keep the place well
