Evergreens At Laurel Apartments

Do not rent here!! This is your warning! This complex and its management are money hungry. They are now charging a ridiculous $125 a month for a second car and $1 a hour for guess parking. Thats $1500 a year or $24 a day for a car. So you cannot have visitors over. Absolutely ridiculous. The apartments are nice but this is not a luxury complex. I would avoid renting here. They are going to find new opportunities to squeeze more money out of their tenants. It won’t be long before they start charging for trash and upkeep. For the amount of money they charge for rent $2k plus for a 1 bedroom, I would find another place to live that will value their tenants better.

I initially hesitated to leave this review due to my previous positive experiences. Until recently, I enjoyed living in my apartment, interacting with the front desk staff, and getting along with some neighbors. However, since Cameron joined the office staff, my experience has drastically changed. Following my formal complaint about his unprofessional behavior, I feel targeted, and my family is now concerned for my safety. Over the past year, my fiancé and I have faced numerous issues. The refusal to replace our outdated AC unit led to mold growth, damaging furniture and clothing. Despite our significant losses (hundreds of dollars), the management only offered a $500 rent reduction. Furthermore, the cleaning company frequently fails to clean our building, and trash pickup for the 'vale

I've only been here a little over four months and I think this is definitely on the top 5 list of places to live. The staff does a phenomenal job. They are very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. My service requests are taken care of promptly and efficiently. The neighborhood is always clean and fairly quiet. The buildings are secure and always clean. My neighbors are friendly and very respectful. The only complaint that I have is the lack of visitors parking for the amount of apartments on the property and the fact that I cannot access the computers after the office has closed. Outside of that I am extremely happy living here.

I lived at the Evergreens Apartments for a 15 month lease period. I lived in a 1 bedroom with my hubby and two cats. The bathroom it this apartment is huge, I loved it. The kitchen was perfect for us, plenty of cabinet space. The office management (Jessica and Michele) are very helpful and pleasant to work with. The maintenance crew is amazing too - you can open a ticket on the portal for repairs and chose your time you want them to come by. The noise in the apartment is fine, typical of apartment living, I didn’t think it was anything out of the ordinary. If I ever move back to the area, I would for sure look to live here again.

Until recently, my experiences here have been amazing! The upkeep of the apartment is great and the maintenance staff are swift with their responses. However, there’s this neighbor and his/her children have been stealing packages and destroying other people’s property. I briefly sat my Aloe Vera plant outside my apt door to water it and a couple hours later, it was destroyed and a piece of the plant was missing. It’s become very uncomfortable. Nonetheless, the staff has always been friendly and helpful.
