Essex Heights Apartments

Lived here for two years and had an exceptional experience. The manager Ana and staff were always so friendly, accommodating, and professional with any questions or concerns I had. The move-in and move- out process was also very smooth. I would highly recommended if you are looking for a nice and quiet location near the beach.

Living at Essex Heights has been nothing short of wonderful. The move in process was really easy and the women in the leasing office were always available to answer my questions. Ana and Heidi are so nice and very helpful. The maintenance staff is unlike any other maintenance staff I have worked with. I've lived in many apartment complexes in San Diego over the years, and the maintenance at Essex Heights is by far the best. They are so nice, helpful, quick to respond, and always so considerate of my schedule (shout out George!). I wish I didn't have to leave Essex Heights. If I were staying in San Diego, I would stay forever! Most of my neighbors have been here for 4+ years and I can totally see why. Essex Heights management is the best! Have lived here for 2 years with zero issues / complaints. Apartments are clean and updated, staff is timely, responsive and so kind. Could not recommend more.

Leasing Staff and Maintenance Staff are amazing! They were able to get me a 1br apartment while still overseas. They have been very accommodating and available. The facilities are well maintained and the complex is friendly and safe. The area is great too, just a walk away from the Encinitas Train Station, grocery stores, the beach and tons of places to eat and drink.

In the four years that I have lived at Essex Heights Apartments apartments, I’ve had a positive experience. Management, led by Ana, has always been nice and easy to communicate with. The apartments themselves were updated right when I moved in and they have a fresh and clean feel. Though there is not in-unit laundry, that is a small price to pay given the proximity to the ocean (1 mile away) and everything that Encinitas has to offer. I would recommend living here.
