Emerson Square Apartments

I lived in this apartments 10 years ago and I never forget how amazing my time there was. Good place, good memories. I'm happy to see that is still looking the same. If Joan still working there, cheers from Brazil!

Lived here for 1 and a half years, overall my experience was positive. The property manager while I was there, Marylou, is great, friendly, and always looked to address concerns. In order to move for work, I needed to shorten my renewal to 6 months, and the process was quite easy. The grounds look nice, and the location is great; within biking distance to a couple of shopping centers while not being too bustling. The two issues I ran into were how easily sound came through the walls/floors, it was very easy to hear when the tenant upstairs had company over; though there's not much that management could do about this aside from renovate the entire building. The laundry facilities were a minor issue as well, at certain times it was hard to find a time when the machines weren't in use.

I have overall had an extremely positive experience with Emerson Square. I have never had a problem with noise. If something broke, they would always fix it promptly. There is a shared washer and dryer in the basement, which are very well maintained. They do cost money to use, but thankfully the apartment issues special cards that can be replenished via credit card so no quarters are needed.

I lived here for about 2.5 years. My first apartment in the complex was downstairs and I could hear everything my neighbors did, it was very loud and distracting. I also had a kitchen that was so moldy dishes smelled musty when you took them out of the cabinet. I had water damage to my ceiling from the upstairs neighbor that although I reported it went unfixed for a week, at which time the ceiling fell down. I also had an electrical issue where a socket spontaneously began hissing and sparking. It took over an hour for them to come look at it, and they told me it would be fine until an electrician could come days later, although it fried my microwave, which they also refused to reimburse me for. I lived in this building for three years, and the wonderful in this building is the building's manager Mary. She was wonderful and kind, with high professionalism, and she is quick to respond to any maintenance request or any problem you face, and she solves it immediately. I enjoyed dealing with her. She is wonderful manager.
