Bought unit with share last June 2019, using it as winter place. So much to do, can’t keep up. Inexpensive to live here. Everything is so close yet very quiet where my unit is across from lake. People are so friendly and helpful. I made quite a few friends now. Where can you find a place to live for less than $400 a month with all the amenities. This is great for 55 and older. Can’t say enough about it.

I’ve seen this area flood multiple times due to it being unbelievably low elevation in relation to the lake beside it. If you plan to live here more than five years, expect a flood to happen at least once, especially whenever any hurricane/tropical storm hits.

We moved in and started renting in Emerald Lakes 12 years ago. We bought two years later and have been there since ... and we have no intention of leaving. It's a great community with lots of activities and friendly people. The location is in the middle of whatever you need.
