Emerald Court Apartment

This is the worst place to live, I don't recommend it. It becomes a nightmare once you live there because you can never find parking. If you have two cars, it's impossible to find a place to park your second car since each apartment rents out individual rooms, and each apartment has up to 7 or 8 cars, so you can imagine how awful it is to deal with this problem. In addition, you pay an exorbitant amount for water and maintenance costs because more than 9 people live in each unit. The apartments are falling apart due to age, and it's unsafe to live with neighbors who have dogs and never clean up after their pets, making the hallways incredibly dirty. Furthermore, the maintenance of the green areas is terrible; there are no green spaces worth the maintenance fees you pay, as the gardeners

They didn't tell you have to pay for trash, water and sweeper until you get 100 dollars bill every month, if you try to rent here come at night time before you take the decision because they don't have control of the parking, you have to walk in a really dangerous dark street for least half mile to get to your apartment. Really dirty people, they don't pick the dogs pup. They are really good collecting the rent. A lot homeless on the canyon inside the trash. Mostly of the garages are used for storage.

After over two years living here I can't wait to leave. Management don't care about their residents, and they don't clean the commun areas. For example, our car registered in the property was towed to Laguna Beach (increasing the cost up to $400) at 2am from an parking spot with no red line. Only because an old and almost removed paint not really visible at night. When I told them that before to remove the car they should have call me and they should have paint a red line, just like in the other not allowed parking spots in the property, they did not listen. Management literally told me he did not have to continue talking to me when I asked him for an explanation. A wonderful place to live! Convenient for shopping & grocery. Neighbors are friendly and polite. Multi-cultural neighbors! I love it!

The manager, Frederick, and the assistant manager, Vienna, are incredible people. Frederick has responded quickly to questions and requests from my husband and myself. Vienna also has been quick to reply and explain things. The maintenance staff is top notch. When we put an online maintenance request in, they help within 24 hours usually. The grounds here are absolutely beautiful. The pools are large and the hot tubs are hot! We have been living here for several years and enjoy the environment, the staff, and our neighbors.
