Elán Pacific Lofts Apartments

DO NOT RENT HERE. A year ago all the units were large 1 bedrooms at about $1200/month rent. Some guy bought the building, and converted all the large 1 bedrooms into small 2 bedrooms, and jacked the rent up to $1950. The elevator rarely works, smells like urine, and is tiny so your furniture won't fit in it. The building owner lets his son live in one of the units and allows him to have his dog there, but no pets are allowed for the rest of the tenants. Parking is basically next to the drive-thru line at McDonalds, so every morning when you wake up you will hear "Welcome to McDonalds, would you like to try a McMuffin?". All the parking spaces are super narrow, so expect to get lots of door dings. Inside the unit, it has popcorn ceilings from the 50's. The bathrooms have no windows and

Wish I could rate based on living here, but I'll just do it off of experience from TRYING to live here. Had TWO scheduled appts for viewings & NO ONE showed up both times. Tried calling when I was there & no one picked up. In fact, about the ~30 times I've tried calling there in general, I've probably gotten through 3 times. All during business hours. Thanks for standing me up a twice & wasting my time! Unprofessional!
