I work in the vacation rental industry, so I understand customer service, property management, and maintenance. My expectations were realistic and based on industry experience. With that said, my year here was unbelievably frustrating, and I would not recommend this property to anyone. During my tour, I was told by Victoria that only updated units were left, and whichever one I chose would have the updated finishes and appliances shown. When I moved in, my unit was NOT updated. Kim was the only person who handled this professionally—she apologized, explained the misinformation came from lack of proper training, and found me another unit with updated appliances. As of 2026, trashy, unorganized and unpleasant. Management DOES NOT DO ANYTHING. They don’t follow up on complaints, they don’t follow up on maintenance requests but what they do is make a bunch of excuses on why they CANT do something. If they do decide to fix a repair they’ll go the CHEAPEST route possible meaning the same issue will occur in three months. What they charge for these apartments are not worth it. They turnover these apartments WITHOUT getting them professionally cleaned or carpets replaced. I’ve seen it multiple times. The gym equipment is trash there’s literally NO weights, the pool is NEVER open. So what amenities are we really paying for? There’s potholes in every parking lot and I’m talking BIG POTHOLES. May be a cheaper option in Charleston but keep as a last resort. for the year that I lived there I was stuck with invasive roaches no matter how hard I fought them. All in my kitchen, living room, and even falling on me in my sleep. I reported this MANY times to the leasing office and they did not help besides just telling pest control that my apartment is first on the list to be sprayed at the end of the week which didn't help. Finally I was able to transfer apartments and had to move without any help. Still had invasive roaches and regular bugs from outside as well. Work orders here are slow and mail often goes missing. They also put these water saving shower heads on that make a terrible sound when the water comes out. I could hear when my neighbors showered in the mornings and nights.

I have lived here for 5 years, and the quality of service has only gone downhill. Maintenance is slow, unresponsive, and careless. I submitted a request over a week ago for a toilet that would not flush properly. Instead of being repaired, I was left reconnecting the handle chain by hand multiple times a day just to use it. The fact that I had to keep reconnecting the chain to the handle shows there was an underlying problem with the toilet itself—it was more than just the toilet not being able to flush. Despite following up with the office several times, I received no response whatsoever. Shortly after, I woke up to find my bedroom, hallway, closet, and bathroom completely flooded with water. My experience with the office staff was very pleasant. They were all helpful, and have positive attitudes. Every time I had a question via email, the response time was always impeccable. Even when maintenance issues arose with my move in, they maintained excellent communication. So far, my experience has been excellent, and I look forward to my time living here.
