I lived at Plantation Apartments from 2007 to 2014. My husband & I are both on the autistic spectrum & cannot work. Property manager Vicki Blake told a friend of ours that my husband & I could work if we wanted to. This is disability discrimination. Vicki Blake went on to say to our friend that we were abnormal because we don't have cable & because we left the blinds down. She said that we were letting our apartment go to waste because the blinds were down. She said we were living in seclusion & shutting out the world. Then she asked our friend what we did all day. I feel this is none of her business. Vicki Blake is a busybody who minds her residents business. This is harassment of disabled people.
My brother lives there and there has been a problem with the kitchen sink not draining and the garbage disposal not working and its created an unlivable situation for several months and they told him they have no management and no maintenance and now they are evicting him . Im calling board of health and reporting this as abuse for disabled person.
