El Paseo Apartments

When I first moved here I was delighted to have space, a patio and security. The residents are pleasant and look out for each. I'm retired from health care and worker 40+ years working with the public..I felt like this would be a peaceful place to call home. There are little dogs like mine and we cross paths on our walks. Alfredo is an amazing young man who is the backbone of maintenance. He is very industrious and has such a nice way with everyone. I recently discovered bed bugs on me and I was mortified. Even when they weren't on me I would feel them. I notified managers on Thursday afternoon. Too bad, no exterminator until next Thursday. "Wash linens and put in trash bag". OK, now what? I have no other place to sleep. So I feel and see bed bugs everywhere, all the time. It is an anxiety

Since I've been living here management has been rude to us seniors. You can't even go in to ask for a request without them giving you dirty looks and being like what do you want. When I first moved here I went to sign papers and maintenance said the bathroom was flooded, I asked what to do and management basically told me it wasn't her problem and to find somewhere to sleep. I had to stay with my niece for 3 weeks. I moved to a different building and it was infested with bed bugs, that's I'm still dealing with till this day.

Very welcoming environment and friendly staff. Being a newcomer to apartment living, El Paseo Apartments I feel was my best choice, from the day I moved in tenants were friendly and helpful in answering any questions that I may have asked. All in all I would recommend anyone 55 + looking for a safe and secure place to live that is still close to local shopping and conveniences, look no further.

***Update*** In the past few months management has become much more freindly. You can see an honest effort to address problems. Slum Lords. They bully the elderly residence. The manager even thinks it's ok to come to residence doors and scream at them.I am now starting my 3rd week having to live with bed bugs because they don't want to pay a reputable company to do the work. The office staff is nasty to everyone who comes in the office. The Advertisement is a lie. We have waited two years for the pool and they still refuse to open it. The day you sign your lease is the last day you will set them smile at you. After that your treated like crap. Very pleased with my move. Staff was easy to work with. All my questions were answered. Move went smoothly. Management was quick to respond to my needs. I look forward to meeting my neighbors. Thank you Angelica and Alfredo!
