Edgewood Apartments

I applied for an apartment at Edgewood Apartments and was disappointed to be denied solely due to my credit. I’ve been a tenant at my current residence for over 16 years without a single issue, always paying rent on time. I also provided strong reference letters from my landlord confirming that I’ve been a reliable and responsible tenant wherever I’ve lived. What makes this especially frustrating is that I was informed it is against policy to deny applicants on government assistance based on credit, yet Edgewood Apartments advertises its listings through the very same government assistance office and still denied me. My home is lovely. Large windows. Laundry/storage room is handy in apt!! Rooms are cozy. I am safe and happy here. Staff is cooperative and goes above expectations!

So I’ve read many reviews and have come across a few negative reviews about Edgewood, some of these were totally false and inaccurate. I’ve seen reviews stating Edgewood is a racist community. False! This is one of the more diverse communities I’ve seen. I’ve seen reviews about them refusing someone because that didn’t allow their “emotional support animal.” I feel this statement was inaccurate. Edgewood is pet friendly but they do have restrictions on their dog policies. Our neighbor has a service dog. The Office manager is friendly and the maintenance staff is always prompt when something needs addressing. I just renewed my lease for a third year and I am happy to call this place my home. I love my apartment!!! Great place to live very quiet and clean. The property manager is awesome very helpful and friendly she’s the best.

Used to be a really nice quiet friendly place to live. Now I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Horrible.
