Edge at Brandon

I lived at Edge of Brandon (formerly Charleston Landings) for 9 years total. Over the 9 years lived in two separate units. Truly enjoyed my time living there. Location is top tier you are in the heart of Brandon with so many grocery stores, shopping plazas/mall, and restaurants in walking distance. Best pricing in the area I would say. The complex is quiet and safe and I never had issues with other tenants. The staff were so kind and sweet. Special shoutout to Sarah and Vickie who helped me over the years. They provided exceptional customer service and went over and beyond. Some of the cons of living here is that there were major delays on maintenance requests, I experienced pest control issues, and over the years there were frequent water shut offs to the whole complex. My daughter lived at The Edge at Brandon on the newer side across the street while attending college, and we are from out of state. The apartment was very nice, clean, and well maintained, which gave us peace of mind as parents. Huge kudos to Sarah in the office—she was always kind, attentive, and quick to help. Maintenance requests were handled promptly; when the AC went out, it was replaced within 24 hours. Overall, a great experience and a well-managed community.

I am currently a resident of The Edge of Brandon Apartments. I wish to applaud office staff and maintenance on being professional and efficient on calls. Today Aaron completed a maintenance issue with my washing machine. I appreciated his professionalism, efficient knowledge and courteous demeanor with fulfilling my work order. He was accompanied by supervisor Daniel for the move. Aaron completed job alone with expertise. I now have a working machine!

I would NOT recommend this place to others. I've lived here for over 7 years and didn't have a problem at first, until I moved to the Delaney side. The Regency side is very nice, and luxurious - compared to Delaney. They owe me a transfer refund still, and it's been a year and a half. After multiple attempts at the leasing office, and calling the parent company, neither one has resolved the issue. We have had a leak in our apartment awhile back, and it took a week to fix it, and they didnt even finish it entirely (drywall not textured/painted). They routinely cheap out on repairs, and it's evident in every apartment I've had here. Another example would be the patio screens -they took a year to fix it, hired a vendor, and they still did NOT do it correctly. Maintenance can be slow to resp
