Eagle & Phenix Mills

The decline of this property is deeply disappointing. It was once a beautiful, well-maintained community, but now neglect is obvious everywhere. The elevator is continually out of service, making it impossible to move anything in or out, including groceries. Hallway carpets smell, and are torn and filthy, and management completely ignores the no-smoking policy inside the buildings. Maintenance standards have dropped to embarrassing levels—when they attempt to repaint, they don’t even bother to match the color. The lighting in the closets and laundry areas is practically useless, and the cheap light covers in the elevator have been missing for years. Garbage piles up around the dumpster for months at a time. Mold is visibly growing on AC vents—imagine what must be inside the ducts. The ga

We only lived in Eagle & Phenix for less than a year, but we had a great experience. The community is gated and felt safe (there were a couple of times that the gate was not working and therefore was left open, but always got fixed within 1-2 days). Building was well-kept. Other residents were quiet and respectful. Location was great, being right off the river and walking distance to Midtown. We never had a single maintenance issue while living there. There are no amenities, but we already knew this when signing our lease, and the rent price was hard to beat. We had to cut our lease short due to military reasons, and had no issues with management about this. The only thing I would say to others is to be careful with cleaning your unit upon move-out, and request to do your move-out inspect

I should've written this review a long time ago when I moved out, but just wanted to say this place was great. I lived in the apartments and wanted to be near downtown, so I found Eagle and Phenix. I wish I had gotten a view of the river, but no unit within my budget was available - im sure its nice though. The thing I enjoyed the most were the thick walls. I never heard my neighbors upstairs or next door (except maybe the occasional person walking in the hall). There's a slight woosh from the traffic on the bridge if you're on that side, but it was really not that bad. Plus a nice hotel was built nearby within walking distance (2 min or less?) where you can get drinks and/or dinner. I think this place is a small hidden gem in Columbus. Maintenance staff has always been prompt, efficient, and polite. Parking near sometimes gets tight at night but isn’t a huge issue. Laura is kind and helpful! When we moved in our apartment was spotless and ready for us to move in. I think it’s mainly from the quality of the structure, but we’ve barely heard any noise from neighbors, it’s great. We love living in such a great location, too!

We didn’t get a chance to go inside any building— but it’s stunning from the outside. 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
