DSLD Homes - Iron Rock

We purchased a DSLD home 2 and a half years ago. The quality is mediocre. We have had to replace the kitchen faucet, the disposal and the dishwasher. Things have started to break. Poor quality appliances were used. A house that cost a half a million dollars should have better quality appliances. Now I’m waiting to see what breaks next. Sigh. Disappointed. The carpet is horrible. Needs replacing.

DSLD Homes is a builder with real estate office located in a model home. There subdivision is gated, and in the final stages of building, with about 10-15% of the homes not yet built or under construction. All homes have 10- foot ceilings, 3-5 BedRs, walking trails, amenity center (pool+dog park+courts) and an HOA.

I went to Iron Rock today to look at another builder. The other builder did not have a model home, but DSLD did. Jason was the agent on duty today. I was very impressed with the quality and price point. They also have 200+ lots. I wouldn't waste my time looking at any other builder if you are buying in this development. I told Jason I wanted to know more about the neighborhood and amenities. I was very impressed with the thought and planning the developer put into this neighborhood.

Hmmm this is the second time my daughter and I have visited, and both times he tells us they don’t have any homes available for us? The homes are beautiful and DSLD is so much better than DRHorton, but apparently we aren’t good enough for their homes??

Beautiful subdivision! So excited to see it come to life! Jason is awesome salesman. DSLD Homes are so beautiful and so elevated for the price range!!
