Downtowner Apartments

This place has been so disappointing, dysfunctional for the years I’ve been living here. With incorrect rent of overcharged fees and late fees when I’m paying my rent on time. Management don’t even try to correct, but quickly put on your door knowing who pays rent on time and who doesn’t. Correct it before putting letters telling residents they owe. The constant letters on door stating something wrong every day to come in my home for just this year in my home 7 times to inspect your your apartment of other tenants wrongs of there dirtiness of roaches coming into other residents apartments. No hot water! you have to run water 30min to an hour in a half to get hot water. Residents have kids running up and down the hall through the night smoking marijuana, and cigarettes in the elevator, thro

Run far away from here! Read the reviews and run! The loud music from other units you can’t escape from not to mention the courtyard RAGERS! Cope are always called but dosent deter in the least. Office dosnt care. Wheelchair bound loved one and was told recently can’t have the ASSIGNED handicap spot anymore they are only for “walking handicap “!? Have had the infamous sticker when I try like one other reviewer did to park next to our ASSIGNED spot .I can’t push a wheelchair up those ramps in a garage that always over 80 degrees! As some other reviewer said the office personnel are very rude don’t do anything lie the list goes on. They have changed manager’s 7 times in 3 years. Each worse than the last. My vehicle has been touched windshield broken etc. cameras are only there for decoration

DO NOT APPLY HERE!!! I applied here on October 29th and was told to give her 72 hours to process my application. No one ever answers the phone and it’s pointless to reach out to corporate because they are elite scammers. The whole damn operation a scam! It’s been almost a month and I have not gotten an update on my application and they refuse to email me back or answer the phone. I called my old leasing agent and asked her if she had been in contact with them and she said they never called or emailed her. They don’t even screen people they just take your application fee and ghost you. Also, the gym doesn’t work yall. They tell you it’s all these amenities but they don’t even work. Figurative and literal TRAP! Staff is unprofessional. Maintenance man calls the shots in the background but hides behind property manager. He's been here at least 10 years, so I am surprised about the community and culture here. A lot of throwing rocks and hiding hands. They pull charges out of thin air. Scamming-they can claim you did ANYTHING and the attorneys will believe it. There is no supervisor. The next level is a law office. Constantly in and out of my apartment. Constant water temperature problems. Mold. Laundry facility only takes special debits cards, no coins and is $2/wash or dry which is rather expensive. Work out facility has not one working machine or matching dumbbell. There was a man "sleeping" in the work out facility when I went in one early morning. Community Center

Lost my home during Hurricane Ida and Amanda and the entire Downtowner staff were so helpful in helping me get settled into my new place. Friendly staff, they answer every email and return every call. The common areas are always clean. Neighbors are really nice and chill. The area has a lot of Dope spots to eat. Overall a great place to live.
