Douglas School Apartments

Bristol presidential took over these apartment in the fall of 2024. During their time with us the have done many Morley needed cosmetic upgrades: new paint on the hallway and laundry room walls, hallway side of the apartment doors, baseboards, and outer doors to the building, fixed leaks and rot on the roof and ousidethe buildoing. As apartments are vacated they are painted in a soft farmhouse color, get new farmhouse style faucets, and replaced all flooring with antimicrobial vinyl wood plank flooring. They have also installed some farmhouse style benches in the entry and hallways. Windows World was called in to create custom replacement windows with screens for the section of the building that had single pane glass in a metal frame and crank out windows with no screens These apartments

New ownership is discriminating disabled and senior tenants, by restricting access to enter the building through the main entrance only! They have changed all the locks on all doors as exits only making it more difficult for tenants with breathing problems, walkers, deliveries, and with trouble walking even more difficult! There is no intercom system, cameras, no way to call for help if something happens! And they do not care and have made no effort in even trying to eliminate the problem that they have created there tenants too!!

Maintenance????? Hostile environment.Bed bugs and roaches seem to be on going epidemic.Evictions just move in with other residents Best place in the bldg is behind your own door.waded in water in in kitchen good thing I own wet vac.9 days later without water.Notified authority Maintenance..MGMT clueless to agreed articles in lease. showed up no notice.Emergency 9 days prior.Two bedrooms have heat in one.

They do some good convincing at first until it's going on longer and longer and it's becoming more and more obvious that they have absolutely no intention of doing anything about your issue to begin with!!! My bedroom ceiling fan, is going it's second year with the fan motor burned up!! And you would think that Since I went through last summer's hottest 3 to 4 months long with no AC whatsoever that they would have attempted or offered to do something to make me more comfortable until the repairs were made, however not a chance!!!

the new landlord is highly rude, put a new born baby at risk of getting covid after she entered an apartment with a newborn baby when she just not a day or so before got out of the hospital from having it, has an emergency contact number listed but declines the call 4 times and then sends a text saying in a loud place who is this. thats not an emergency number if you are comfortable enough to decline a call multiple times, was spoken to about a live in maintenance position said leave application under door and then when was contacted through the text on the emergency number said the position was filled she's only ever there maybe 2 times a week the main number doesn't work and she was really rude and snarky in the texts also I know a few people that lives their they all said there is no ma
